Forestry manager cautions illegal chainsaw operators on forest reserve

The municipal forestry manager for Sefwi Wiawso in the Western North region, Mr Obeng Boamah has cautioned illegal chainsaw operators on the forest reserve.
In an interview with the media on measures  to stop illegal chainsaw in the municipality, he said the forestry reserve at Boako, Tano suhen and Suhenso area are going to be well protected. He alledges that some people from Sankore  who were cutting down trees have been arrested and handed over to police to face the law.
He urged those with the mindset to destroy Ghana’s forest reserve to desist from that.
