On behalf of the Chief Executive and Management, Deputy Chief Executives Dr. James Kutsoati and Dr. Francis Baah presented the 2023 Cocoa of Excellence (CoEx) Awards to Mr. Daniel Nti of Samreboi in the Western North Region, Mr. Emmanuel Takyi of Ayirebi in the Eastern Region, and the Cocoa Research Institute of Ghana (CRIG), in recognition of their outstanding performance at the 2023 International Cocoa of Excellence Awards.
The award recipients were urged to continue serving as ambassadors for Ghana’s fine-flavour cocoa and to champion best farming practices within their communities.
In response, the honourees expressed gratitude to COCOBOD for the technical and institutional support that contributed to their international success.
COCOBOD reaffirmed its commitment to advancing the cocoa sector through sustained investment in research, farmer training, and quality assurance, thereby reinforcing Ghana’s status as a global leader in fine-flavour cocoa production.
