Asufufu community embark on an exercise to clean Asufufu river

The Chief of Sunyani Asufufu, Nana Kumi Gyeabour (Asufufuhene) led the residents of Asufufu in a clean up exercise at the Asufufu River.
The clean up exercise was aimed at making Asufufu River(White River)clean and safe for drinking.
The activities saw the active involment of Nana Kumi Gyeabour Asufufuhene, Nana Abena Agyeiwaa Asufufu hemaa, Nana Yeboah Asiamah Asufufu Krontehene and all the sub-cheifs, Queen Mothers, Elders and all the people of Asufufu.
Asufufuhene Nana Kumi Gyeabour called for support from individuals to provide them with tools such as Catlasses, Hoes, Shovel and others.
The Participants of the exercise desilted the choked items in the river and weeded the areas the river bank.
According to Nana Kumi Gyeabour, it is very necessary to have residents, especially youths committed to making sure their environment is always clean.
The exercise is currently ongoing at Sunyani Asufufu in the Bono Region
