ATLANTIC LITHIUM DELEGATION CALLS ON LANDS MINISTER TO DISCUSS PROSPECTS IN GHANA
On Wednesday, 19th February, 2025, a delegation from Atlantic Lithium met with the Lands Minister, Hon. Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah, to discuss the company’s mining prospects and current operations in the Ewoyaa area of the Mfantseman Municipality.
The delegation sought government support in rectifying the lease agreement, which is currently pending in Parliament.
The Lands Minister assured the delegation that he would work closely with Parliament to resolve the issue, paving the way for the construction of the mine.
This development is significant, as Atlantic Lithium has already received a Mine Operating Permit from the Minerals Commission, which is the final regulatory approval needed to commence construction.
Atlantic Lithium Limited, an Africa-focused Lithium exploration and development company has been granted a Mine Operating Permit by the Minerals Commission.
The Permit is in respect of the company’s flagship Ewoyaa Lithium Project and serves as the final regulatory approval required by the company ahead of commencing construction of the project.
