Fuel shortage hits Krachi West

The three main fuel stations including state-run GOIL have been without fuel for several days in the municipality forcing motorists to travel far to buy fuel

The Krachi West municipality in the Oti Region has been hit by fuel shortage affecting business activities of commercial drivers and traders.

The three main fuel stations including state-run GOIL have been without fuel for several days in the municipality forcing motorists to travel far to buy fuel.

Commercial drivers, in particular, are calling on officials to address the issue immediately before businesses grind to a halt in the municipality.

According to Asaase News sources, the shortfall is due to ongoing rise in gasoline fuel, forcing only one of the stations to operate for sometime now.
