Mahama reiterates commitment to operationalise Anomabo Fisheries College

President John Dramani Mahama has reaffirmed his commitment to operationalize the Anomabo Fisheries College, a project initiated during his previous tenure.
He has directed the Fisheries Minister to collaborate with the Finance Minister to secure the necessary funding to complete the project.
The Anomabo Fisheries College, whose construction began in 2013, has faced delays and periods of abandonment. Recently, the Minister-Designate for Fisheries and Aquaculture Development, Madam Emelia Arthur, pledged to ensure the college becomes fully operational before the end of her tenure.
The completion and operationalization of the college are anticipated to provide significant educational and economic benefits, particularly in enhancing the skills and knowledge of individuals in the fisheries sector.
