COCOBOD Backs Launch of Cocoa Media Hub to Strengthen Farmer Engagement

The Ghana Cocoa Board (COCOBOD) has participated in the official launch of the Cocoa Media Hub, a new stakeholder-driven platform designed to amplify farmers’ voices, promote transparency, and improve the flow of accurate information across Ghana’s cocoa sector.

The Cocoa Media Hub is expected to play a key role in farmer education, enhanced stakeholder engagement, and the advancement of critical sector reforms. These include public awareness on COCOBOD’s 24-hour operational policy as well as sustained education against illegal mining activities in cocoa-growing communities.

Speaking on behalf of the Chief Executive Officer of COCOBOD, the Head of Public Affairs, Mr. Jerome K. Sam, commended the initiative and lauded the team behind the establishment of the platform. He described the Hub as a timely intervention that aligns with COCOBOD’s efforts to deepen transparency and improve communication within the cocoa value chain.
Mr. Sam reaffirmed COCOBOD’s commitment to working closely with the Cocoa Media Hub and other relevant stakeholders to ensure the effective dissemination of policies, programmes, and reforms aimed at improving productivity and enhancing the livelihoods of cocoa farmers nationwide.
