The NAIMOS Taskforce resumed operations at the Eastern Region and raided an illegal mining site at Bunsu within the Section E Site 3 of the Cocoa Research Centre in the Fanteakwa South District.
The Taskforce saw mass destruction of lands within cocoa farms. The illegal miners absconded upon siting the vehicles of the NAIMOS Taskforce.
The Taskforce seized two excavators and one bulldozer left behind by the fleeing illegal miners.
